RELEASE AGENTS AND OTHER PROCESSING AIDS FOR:

Additives for impregnation of decorative papers
  • HPL
  • CPL
  • LPL

  • Products:
  • Release agents for paper impregnation with MF and UF resins
  • Formulated for internal use with MF and UF resins, do not generate foam in the impregnation baths, ensure easy demolding of laminated boards in the press plates, and prevent soiling of these. They are the ideal allies in challenging productions, such as high-gloss laminates or deep-structure laminates.
  • Catalysts for MF and UF resins
  • Various types of effective catalysts to achieve optimal curing with a low dosage level and different latency grades.
  • Antiblocking
  • High-efficiency antiblocking additive formulated for internal use in MF, UF, and PF resins. Prevents sticking of impregnated paper sheets during storage, transport, or handling in the press formation systems, if they have been exposed to high temperatures and humidity. Also allows working with papers with high volatile content, avoiding the previously mentioned problems.
  • Plasticizer
  • Improves the plasticity of papers, allows for post-forming with a smaller curvature radius, and reduces cracking on post-formed surfaces. Facilitates the engraving of deep structures, avoiding overcuring defects, porosity, and opacity in designs.
  • Wet agents
  • Formulated for internal use in MF and UF resins. Do not generate foam and reduce surface tension. Accelerate and improve the saturation capacity of papers during the impregnation process.
  • Antidust
  • With low dosage allows achieving a more uniform surface free from dust even in critical process conditions.
  • Flow enhancer
  • During the initial phase of pressing laminates, melamine resin must flow well to accommodate the surface structure of the plates before hardening. Otherwise, serious issues of clouding or opacity arise with dark papers and deep finish structures. In addition, the final laminate exhibits defects in porosity, abrasiveness, and poorer stain resistance of the laminated surface. This additive definitively resolves issues in this type of challenging production, providing high resin flow in its transition from “B stage” to “C stage” during the flame retardant process for LPL and HPL.
